Camera shake - The effect of not holding the camera steady enough. Just as in the way that the shutter speed freezes or blurs a moving object, so the blur from camera shake depends on how much the image moves. A telephoto lens, which covers a small area of the entire view, is more susceptible than is a wide-angle lens; the latter is always easier to hold steady at a slow speed.
